I am having an issue connecting my Orbi 853 to ONFL modem with See The Light in the UK
Hi, I am having an issue connecting my Orbi 853 to ONFL modem with See The Light in the UK. It found the SSID and when I try to connect, it reads no cable connection. Not a technical person here and really need some help.
The internet works fine with the TP Link router provided by See The Light.
Help...... Can you share how you connected as I thought it would be as simple as plug in and follow the app instructions.

It would help to know which ONT has been installed:
https://www.seethelight.co.uk/documents/ONT_user_guide.pdf?cc=v1.0.1.2
and which specific TP-Link WiFi router/
Yes, gernerally all that is required is to move the cable connecting the ONT to the TP-Link and plug it into the WAN (yellow) port on the Orbi router (labelled RBR850 on the bottom - "Router")
I did not find reference to customers using their own router with See The Light. Some Internet Service Providers require routers to use a login (user name & password) to connect the router to the network. That would be something to ask their technical support about.
