I am having similar problems until recently the satellites won't connect at all

I am having similar problems until recently the satellites won't connect at all.  Then read that the issue could be due to different code levels. Soo after resetting all equipment multiple times and then seeing my satellites had 4.6.8.2 code and the router has V4.6.5.14 so then backdated one of the satellites to the other code to still not being able to get them to link.  Then tried to find the 4.6.8.2 code to put into the router and re-install in the one of three satellites but can not locate it.   Trying to figure out if this mismatch of software is the reason for the lack of the units linking and if so where I can find the 4.6.8.2 code to put in the router.  This is very frustrating.  Any input would be appreciated.
