No but I've upgraded and then downgraded numerous times for each callback from Netgear for their troubleshooting. I'm sceptical of a factory reset but I could try this to prove a point either way.

Ideally, a factory reset and setup from scratch via the RBR web GUI should be done after upgrades if issues are seen, especially for significant updates with many changes. v15 is quite a significant update, so a reset should be done if you are having issues.
Also I would try first disabling IPv6 if it's enabled.

Hi liamscor - sorry I checked back through my initial notes with Netgear support and one of the checks I performed with them on the call was a factory reset.
- Performed a factory reset of the RBR on v15. Followed the initial setup wizard but only entered the bare minimum to establish Internet and WiFi connectivity: same issue with Speedtest on ethernet connected MacBook and LG on router.
- I then restored a backup with the full config. Once booted, all my previous config is there: same issue with Speedtest for ethernet connected MacBook and LG to router. This proved the factory reset is not a factor here and is somewhat an unnecessary step to take when updating, for the most part (I'm sure there are exceptions and this is still a worthily area to eliminate). You should not need to setup from scratch and worse case is if you do then you should be able to restore a backup config file.
Re IPv6, I checked Advanced>IPv6 and Internet Connection Type is set to Disabled.

Hi Jeffgear,
Unfortunately, there are some instances where you do need to do a factory reset and set up from scratch without restoring the backup config file, since the config file can bring over settings that can conflict with the new firmware and cause issues. Other people have had to do the same thing because their backup config files have caused issues once imported. This is due to the fact that the backup config file can contain settings that mismatch, conflict, or are not compatible with the new firmware. This is especially the case when it is a significant update with many changes and bug fixes, such as v15.
I appreciate it's a pain to manually go through and set all your settings again, but sometimes this is a necessary step to ensure there is nothing from the previous firmware in the backup config file that could be causing your issues.
