What Firmware version is currently loaded?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended. STP being important here.
Be sure your connecting the RBRs WAN port to the BLUE LAN port on the ISP router.
What does the WAN or Internet MAC address show on the RBRs web page under advanced tab/Internet section?
What devices are you speed testing with? Wired ethernet is preferred.

Hi,
Firmware loaded is V6.3.7.10, I'm manually updating to V7.2.6.21 which only seemed to be available to download (and not in the auto updater). will get some shielded cables. not sure whether the one that came with the Orbi is or not (isn't labeled as far as I can tell). Have it from the 10Gb port on the AT&T router to the WAN port on the Orbi. I have moved one of the satellites further away (comcast copper came into my closet, fiber is t my garage) I have a challenging house where the nature of the walls and building material causes a lot of blockage so the distances aren't ideal. The weird thing is that the speedtest from the RBRE in the app itself sometimes looks like the uploads (but not downloads) are throttling. but *shrug*. cables not available locally in store so have to wait until next week to update status. Thanks for suggestions.
