I want to get wifi in my detached garage with an Orbi RBK753

Question

I have a detached pole barn about 100ft from the corner of my house where I can put a satellite. If I put another satellite in the pole barn would I be able to get coverage back there? I don't care too much about the speed as it's only to add a Blink security camera to my garage.&nbsp; I'm trying my hardest to not run an ethernet cable out there because I don't want to drill holes through my house.&nbsp;

It is not clear if this satellite is already on site (i.e. you already have one rather than "just wondering").
If that is the case, then this sounds like an easy thing to test.&nbsp; The 5G backhaul signal does "fall off" with distance, but a Blink camera has really modest needs.&nbsp; It would be a good idea to make the connection path as open as possible. (Maybe put the satellite in a window or at least very close to the nearest wall.
(actually, an RBK753 already includes satellites. Just relocate one of them for a test.

If this does not work out, there are any number of "WiFi point-to-point bridge" products available which area idea for this sort of thing.&nbsp; (Check Amazon.)&nbsp; Unless there is more need for WiFi in the pole barn than just a couple of Blink cameras, a point-to-point bridge with an inexpensive WiFi access point on the other end would be fine.&nbsp; Orbi "satellites" are essential when the goal is to have mobile devices roam seamlessly from one Orbi unit to another (and back).&nbsp; That Blink camera is not going to move.&nbsp; It an be connected to any old access point.&nbsp; No need to even use the same WiFi credentials

Pretty much what I figured. I didn't buy the orbi yet. Figured I'd save myself $400 and a trip to Kohls to return it if someone had an answer.

I haven't bought them yet. Seems like I'll have to go ahead and get them. Worst comes to worst I'll just have to return. I'll look into the bridge though.
