Initial Set Up - Orbi Mesh AX4200 (RBK752) w/ ATT Uverse Pace 5268AC & Port Forwarding (torrents)
I'm awaiting my Orbi and have done some online research for the initial set up that will meet my needs. . . but I haven't located an online solution just yet. Don't judge me . . . I'm using ATT...
I was able to complete the set up with only a few minor surprises. The ATT Uverse TVs and the port forwarding from the MacBook are working just fine, today, for now, hold my breath, etc etc etc.
Leave the ATT DVR and ATT WAP etherneted into the Pace router. Disable the ATT WiFi on the Pace. Ethernet a computer to the Orbi, use a browser to find orbilogin.com. Set up the Orbi in AP mode. Suprise #1: Do NOT use the Orbi Ap even though you'll be tempted to do so. It defaluted to Routner mode which created the double NAT scenario. Surprise #2 - make sure you've got an ethernet ready computer. In the MacBook world, those connections are getting scarce.
