What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
You should review the mac book networking settings and remove any Guest Network profiles that maybe there. THis is a Apple issue not a Orbi issue. WiFi devices pick and choose where they connect. I know mine does and my mac book only connects to the main SSID. I have recently enabled Guest Network and have not seen this with mine.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Be sure to check your CTS and RTS values. If they are at 64, please change both to 2347.

Cisco DPC3848V - it's a modem and router in bridge mode and is the same one I used with the RBR50. I recognize that this sounds like an Apple issue. We also have two internet radios that are dropping from the wifi, each from a different manufacturer. My husband's PC is running slowly and dropping from the wifi as well.
My phone is showing a message in the wifi settings that says the network is blocking encrypted DNS traffic.
