Is there a way to be notified when server disconnects?
Hi all, today I discovered that one of my two RBS850s was disconnected as its status. It's got a wired backhaul. I have not ever seen this happen before, I assume it was some fluke. I powered it off, waited a minute and powered it back on and it seems fine.
The funny thing is, I don't know how long it's been down. Of the devices that would be connected to it - 2 use Ethernet via a switch to the router, 3 are phones/tablets that mostly use wifi for email and notifications etc while at home (so their slower speed from the other satellite would not be noticeable), 2 printers are direct connected to the switch and 1 printer uses 2.4GHz - so it easily connects to the other satellite. So normally it would not be that easy to tell that satellite went down.
So my question is this - is there some way to get a notification or something when an error like a satellite disconnecting occurs? The log doesn't seem useful because (a) I have to go look at it vs. being notified and (b) even when I look at it, I have reams of DHCP connects to wade through. Plus, from what I saw in examining the log today, the satellite going down wasn't even reported in the log although the "Attached devices" list showed it being disconnected.
Thanks!

Not that I know of...
Something like that would be nice...maybe seen as a notification thru the Orbi app?

Yes that would work very nicely!
I guess an email would work too since it can already do that to send the logs, I Know that hasn't always worked reliably though.
