Issue connecting RBS750 Satellite

Hi Guys,

I would appreciate if anyone could help me out 🙂

I will start from the beginning. I have an RBR750 router downstairs in the living room snd 2 RBS750 satellites upstairs. The main satellite I use upstairs is connected via Ethernet to my PC. I was having issues because the downloads speeds were only ranging from 100-120mbps even though I have a 1000/50 plan. I tried doing some research and some said that they found solutions by dropping down some firmware. So I dropped the firmware of that satellite all the way to its first firmware. Not sure exactly what it was but it’s was 3 point something something. And no luck. I wake up the next day and now there’s no internet on that satellite.

I done a factory reset of all the satellites and router and done the setup again using the ORBI app. When it tries find the satellites it always finds the satellite in the other room but not the main one I use upstairs (photo attached).

Is it maybe because it’s a different firmware compared to the others. But wouldn’t a factory reset make it install the latest firmware. Is there any way to see what firmware it’s on or maybe something else is causing this issue?

I would really really appreciate some help

Kind regards

  • Should never go back to old FW on RBS.

RBS and RBR need to be on same version of FW always.
