Just moved, took Netgear modem and orbi 850s to new home. Orbi won't recognize Internet.
Title says most of it. I just moved into a new home, brought my modem and orbi 850 with me from my old place to the new one. No issues at old house. Xfinity tech came out this morning and provisioned ...

something to keep in mind is that the cm1150v has 4x ethernet ports. But with xfinity, only 1 device can be connected to it because they only assign 1 public ip address.
So try this.
Disconnect everything from the router and the modem. (even coax from modem)
then power them both down for 10 minutes.
connect coax back to the modem and power it on.
Wait 2-3 minutes for it to fully boot.
Plug port 1 on the modem into the wan port on the router.
Boot up the router. Give it a couple minutes to fully boot.
Attempt setup on the ethernet connection in the router.
make sure nothing else gets plugged into the cm1150v

- Sadams930Jun 03, 2022TutorThat worked!!
I unplugged everything completely including the cable. Let everything sit 10 minutes. Reset the orbi and powered it down. Waited for the modern to fully come back up. Plugged the Ethernet into the orbi and fired it up. Found the Internet right away.
Thanks for your help!!!
