After any factory reset, you can be sure to use the same SSID name that you had been using before so that prior connected devices will reconnect and you won't have to set them up again.
Sounds like you have a router upstream from the RBR thats using 192.168.1.1 in which the RBR will auto change to 10.x to avoid this conflict as two routers can not use the same IP address while on the same line.
If your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router.

Try option #2 first...Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

If your ISP modem or ONT is in bridge mode, then the Orbi system or RBR needs to be in router mode, not AP mode. There needs to be a host router for something to work in AP mode as router functions are disabled in AP Mode.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
May need to factory reset and setup from scratch with the Orbi system and setup using a wired PC and web browser:
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.

When a customer owned router is in the default 'router' mode, it typically creates a local IP subnet (LAN) and assigns itself the IP address of 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.0.1 When in 'access point' mode, the router receives an IP address from the primary router and is unlikely to be assigned one of those IP addresses.
I can think of two ways to learn the IP address of the Orbi:
- Use the management system of the Genexis router to learn what IP address it has assigned to the Orbi device.
- Use a network scanning program to list all the devices on the IP subnet. Many of these programs are able to identify the brand of device and what sort of device each is.
As FURRYe38 pointed out, it is unlikely that there is "no router". If the Genexis is in bridge mode and the Orbi is in access point mode, then the system will not function at all.

The Orbi IP seems to be:
RBR850 192.168.1.236 28:80:88:21:2f:f0What does this IP say about failing to logging in to the Orbi router?Source:Genexis - 192.168.1.254 - System - Network - Clients- FURRYe38Nov 20, 2024Guru - Experienced User
Can you get to RBRs web page with that IP address on a PC and web browser?

You'll need to factory reset the RBR and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser:

if the ISP modem is in fact in bridge mode, then the RBR should be setup in router mode then you'll be able to access the RBR at 192.168.1.1.
