Login to Orbi router

After any factory reset, you can be sure to use the same SSID name that you had been using before so that prior connected devices will reconnect and you won't have to set them up again.
Sounds like you have a router upstream from the RBR thats using 192.168.1.1 in which the RBR will auto change to 10.x to avoid this conflict as two routers can not use the same IP address while on the same line.
If your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router.

You'll need to factory reset the RBR and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser as mentioned below using that process.
After a new factory reset of both the Orbi router and satellite, setting up the whole system again via the Orbi app, login to the router still proved to be impossible. It appears, in this respect, nothing has changed for the better. Any other options to consider, please?

I did try a new factory reset and setup of the Orbi router using my wired PC and web browser, but, as said, to no avail.
However, there is something positive to add to my earlier failed attempts to login to the Orbi router using my wired PC.
Last Monday, all at a sudden, I managed by accident to login to the Orbi router using my Android phone via ip-address 10.0.0.1. The Netgear page that opened was hardly visible with faint text on a light background. I had to enlarge it to make it readable.
First I had a look on the Netgear page and managed to change some simple setings that I think can be useful for my home network. However, then, after a interruption of about 3 years, I found the place where to select the desired router mode instead of the current AP mode. I did select the router mode, saved it, but, unfortunately, after a minute or so, the attempt proved to be unsuccessful. I got a long error code. I tried twice to change to the router mode on my phone, both failed.
Besides, trying to open the Netgear page again on my phone via default IP 10.0.0.1, this does not work anymore today.
The error says that the site/page does not open.
Any other suggestions are welcome.
So did you try to factory reset the RBR with out it connected to the ISP modem/ONT? Then try to access the RBRs web page at 192.168.1.1 to get a set wizard here?
I did not yet try the suggesting option to reset the RBR without connection to the ISP/ONT modem.
From my desktop PC I still cannot login to the RBR using 10.0.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.
However, since I got access to the Orbi router, perhaps one-time, using 10.0.0.1, as mentioned earlier, I could change a few things and also selecting the 'router mode' instead of the 'AP mode', but not finalizing the latter, the home network, both Wi-Fi and ethernet (using powerline adapters), as a whole, seems more stable and fast.
After each reset of the RBR not only the Orbi router had to be reinstalled and reconfigered again, but also all other Wi-Fi related devices, such as the heating system (heat pump), speakers, tv's, radios, electric curtains and even a fridge. This whole operation takes much time and effort. Therefore, I have decided to leave the RBR alone, for the time being, and to enjoy the functionality of many related devices. Only, the IP cameras are still not functioning.

Enjoy. 📡About the, in my case lenghty, Orbi Wi-Fi reset procedure, I had indeed chosen to change the SSID in order to be able to start with a clean network system again.
Last evening I was more lucky, when using my rather old Dell laptop, using Wi-Fi to go to orbilogin.net, which, after years, suddenly succeeded, without the prior need of having used one or more of the options mentioned first.
This meant that, finally, I could now succesfully select the 'router mode' instead of the 'AP-mode'. And also backed up the configuration to file.
For as long as it takes, I have now succeeded in changing the Orbi router settings to my satisfaction.
