Had the Cox tech out to the house and confirmed everything is working. I call the Gearhead custormer support and was told there about this "known" Mac issue. Can anyone confirm this or am I being given the runnarround. I believe the Cox tech when he says everything is workingn properly. I checked his equipment myself and had him do all kinds of checks. They Orbi system is less than 6 months old. Help!

The Mac issue was identified by the Gearhead technician that I called. Also when I looked at the system through a web browser, the diagnostics said that there was no cable connection. This is what initially prompted the call to Cox. Nevertheless, tuen out the next day, when I plugged the system back in after keeping it unplugged for 24 hours, everything started to work again. The system has been up and running for the last two days. So it seems like the issue has been resolved.

Keep this in mind for next time:
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute them back ON.
