Maximizing Internet Speeds wirelessly with Orbi 6 RBR 760 and Satellites
Hi, I've got an Orbi RBR 760 hooked up via ethernet to a Century Link ONT fiber that's supposed to deliver up to 940 Mbps. I got rid of the Centurylink modem/router so the Orbi is communicating via ...

Actually, this is not what the metrics show. Ethernet connection to the router is the fastest of all connections (which it should be).
Computer to the router via ethernet I get speeds of around 920 Mbps Download and 815 MbpsUpload. Wirelessly I get about 430 Mbps download and 621 Mbps Upload. Seems like a big drop just to use wifi seated right next to the router. I'd like to increase that speed if possible since paradoxically I get better speeds on the satellites.
Satellite 1 located on second floor from router and about 38 feet from other sattelite, I get 472 Mbps download and 413 Mbps upload connected via ethernet and 420 Mbps Download and 410 Mbps Upload wirelessly. Any thoughts on how to increase these speeds?
Satellite 2 also on second floor but a little more directly above router I get 873 Mbps Download and 784 Mbps Upload wired and 723 Mbps Download and 717 Mbps Upload wirelessly. Both are better than wirelessly at router. How come and how can I improve it?
This remains a puzzle. WiFi connection to the router should not be slower than WiFi connection to a satellite. Maybe not any faster, but certainly not slower. I have no explanation.
The only known method to increase speed at satellites is to connect them to the router with Ethernet cable, which is often impractical.
