Mesh 6
I inherited a mesh system from my parents. Of course we could not find the password, and I am having issues logging into it. Ive tried factory reset and using defaults. Using the WIFI password I have saved on the phone and nothing will work. Netgear will not respond

What actual model do you have?
did you push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on?

When an Orbi router is Factory Reset (holding something in that tiny 'Reset' hole for at least 7-10 seconds), the entire configuration is erased and restored to factory settings (using the firmware that is currently on the router):
- Th WiFi credentials are what is printed on the product label (bottom of the case). Usually the WiFi 'name' (SSID) is a combination of the letters "ORBI" plus a two digit number and the WiFi password is two random words (like randymonkey) plus a number.
- The administrative login credentials are "admin" and "password" (all lower case).
- The first time someone logs into the system using the web interface (http://orbilogin.net or the gateway IP which is often 192.168.1.1), they are prompted to perform a configuration.
When systems are purchased, Netgear provides 90 days of 'complimentary support' to get new customers up and running. After that, they require purchase of a support contract before they will interact with anyone. This is often what leads people to the Community Forum, because it is "free".
