Mixed Backhaul on Orbi 750?

Mixed works on Orbi AX. It's best to sync the RBS first, then ethernet connect the RBS after wards.
Is the RBS being directly connected to the back of the RBR or is there a LAN switch in between them ?
Also:
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
