Modem/Router Compatibility Information

Good morning, I have the orbi WiFi 6 RBK753 system connected in LAN/WAN to the modem/router of my current ISP. Since I have to change ISP, the new ISP will give me a new modem/router, the model is: ZTE ZXHN H6645P, my question is if I connect the orbi router as I am using it now, i.e. LAN/WAN, is it compatible with this new modem/router that the new ISP will give me? I await your response and thank you.

the ZTE ZXHN H6645P is a modem/router combo device.

It'll put you in a double nat.

A double nat happens when you cascade more than 1 router.

Fixes? There are 3 options, but only use 1.
    1. Put the modem/gateway in modem only/pass-through mode. This disables its routing functions.
    2. Leave the modem/gateway in router mode but put the Netgears IP address into its DMZ. This forwards the data to the netgear. You can either leave the modem/gateway wirelessly enabled or disabled. Just make sure its using a different wifi channel to prevent interference
    3. Put the Netgear into access point mode. This disables its routing functions. The Wi-Fi/ethernet still works, but it disables some features.
