Can’t answer the firmware question as I can’t create the network.

Try using a wired PC and web browser connected at 192.168.1.1 on the RBR and walk thru the setup wizard...

Has anyone experienced this with xb6 bridged? Send unusual that the RBK23 system has no issues.
Would it be helpful to turn off the bridge and try setting up?
The reason I ask is that this is the second RBK753 system I’ve had with the exact same issue. Must be something on my end…Possible something between this particular modem and the new RBR system.
You can try the following with the modem as well:
1. Don't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
2.
