What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
How many RBS are deployed?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and š” satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBRš” and RBSš°ļø to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

How many devices do you have connected in total?
Are you using the IoT SSID network for some of your devices?
Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Current firmware as of 6/14/23.
Spectrum internet (current speed 580mbps) modem model #E31T2V1, docsis 3.1
cables are all 6E or better. (Currently utilizing 2.5ghz Ethernet for most of the wired portion of the network.
81 devices connected to WiFi network most on the IoT network.
āāWiFi analyzer shows other networks but not what I would consider congested, channels are set to auto.
The configuration file seems to become corrupted and/or unstable every 30-90 days with the reload from backup fixing the stability/dropping issue most of the time.

What do you mean by "The configuration file seems to become corrupted and/or unstable every 30-90 days"
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network. What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?

Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many? Please confirm CAT# LAN cable. There is no CAT6E. There is CAT5E. CAT6A STP is recommended between the RBR and ISP modem.

Yes, Cat 6 not E. I realize youāre trying to help, but people are not (generally) having problems with the wired portion of the router/networks. From what I can tell from the forums is the 960ās WiFi stability issues. For what itās worth, my house is 2k sgft. I bought this router because I was pushing 100 WiFi devices and specs on the router say 200, so Iām not pushing the unit beyond its designed limits.
I still believe, based on my experience, the firmware is not sufficiently stable. The hardware design is stellar, firmware not so much. If this was a $100 cheapo setup then you get what you pay for but itās not. Netgear markets this as the pinnacle of mesh router technology and charges a premium price to go along with the marketing hype. For many end users, dare I say āPower Usersā, because who else would pay $1,500 for a consumer router, the user experience is wildly inconsistent. This just isnāt a mature product and we deserve better.

So we need you to please give feedback to the questions presented so we can better help you out. Makes it hard for us to help you troubleshoot and solve issues with out details and information. We are here to help and see if we can resolve problems only.
FYI, for a 2000sq ft home. the RBR would only be needed. Maybe one RBS placed at 30feet or more and the power on the RBR turned down to 25%. That size of home and having two RBS place would be too much wifi and maybe the cause of what your seeing. Too Much Wifi: https://youtu.be/UR0viMLISz4
I have a 5000sq ft home and run two RBS and power is at 50-25%. However I don't have same device count either. No issues seen over long periods of time.

Do any of these IoT devices support 5Ghz? If so, lets enable 5Ghz as well.
Possible that 2.4Ghz may not be supportive of that many devices on one frequency.
