NBN issue with latest firmware versions
I use a RBR750 with 2 satellites and they were just running perfectly. I am connected to NBN and I never needed to reboot and the connection to the internet was stable and great. Later came firmw...

It has been pointed out from the logs that there are many DHCP requests from several sources followed by a disconnect event. Thank you for this!
I now have assigned most of my devices a reserved IP address and have also enabled IPv6 on the ORBI.
Then I updated the firmware to the latest version 7.2.6.31 which never worked longer than 1 day. For the FW upgrade, I used this time the ORBI app on my phone.
Since then, no more crashes, everything runs very smoothly.
I will further monitor it, but it seems to me these frequent DHCP requests have caused the system to crash. Strange though, a DHCP request should be a very basic function...

This all did not help.
Here are the steps I did:
Friday afternoon: I bought a brand-new NG GS305 and connected it to my NBN Modem (port 1) and to my ORBI (port 2).
Updated FW on my 2 satellites to V7.2.6.21
Updated router to V7.2.6.21
Saturday early afternoon the magenta LED went on and the internet was down.
I restarted all like: Power off ORBI and NBN modem.
Brought NBN modem online and after 2 min ORBI. All working again
Factory reset ORBI and configured all from scratch
Sunday late afternoon – evening the magenta LED went on and the internet was down again.
Removed the switch and connected the NBN directly to the ORBI, restarted all and put back the FM V4.6.14.3 on the router (only) and all worked again.
Remember, my IP lease is valid for only 10 min from my ISP. So I don’t think this is the issue.
I am very sure that this now will stay that way for months without any issues.
So please tell me this is not a firmware issue.
Either the hardware of the firmware is not fit for its purpose - at least here in Australia.
So far, I was happy with every NETGEAR product I had… But with all these problems and no way to report it – never a NETGEAR again!

Just to jump in with a thought....
Restarting the NBN modem fixes the issue. Why is this not an ISP or modem problem? HaJoS While you got the name of the modem wrong, you appeared in post 1 to say that the ISP said the modem was causing the issue. So what about the modem? Try another? Are there error logs to look at?
I don't know much about the NBN modem, what model is it? It would be great if you had modem logs to look at and post...

Sorry, in the beginning, I mixed this up. What the ISP meant was this issue comes from within my network, so the ORBI is causing this issue.
Also, why is the ORBI on version V4.6.14.3 not causing any issues whatsoever? All higher FW versions do have this issue.
