Need to reboot after a power outage - Satellites sometimes don't connect and display hidden SSID's.
Hi, I have an RBRE960 and two RBSE960 Satellites, with Satellites connected via ethernet backhaul to the RBRE. They are running V7.2.6.31 and for the most part are running well and stable, however ...

Yes all orbis were powered down after firmware per the guidance.
The provider equipment is an Aris CMB200, confirmed the cable is of high quality cat 6 but I will replace it just to be certain. Thanks

cable replaced and same happens, I also have heard from others in AU with same router connected to same ARIS device reporting the same, shared on local au non netgear communities, the only solution was to add a timer to turn power off and on once a day to ensure if there is a power outage, the router gets powered cycled. So based on this I think there is a bug in the routers checking and re-establishing an internet connection. Thoughts on getting a bug listed with netgear?

Did you update FW on the RBS first then RBR lastly?
Something to try, install a Gb switch in between the RBR and Arris modem and see if this helps when there is a power outage. Don't connect anything else to this switch Just the modem and RBR. NG GS105 or GS305. If you want to keep the same connection rated speeds between the modem and router, then try a MS105 for 2.5Gb speeds.

yes updated the satellites first and then the router last. It’s very stable except for this scenario of recovering from power outages. I will try the suggested switch between ARIS and RBR and report back.
