Nest Thermostat Batteries LOW on a new ORBI AX setup

No.
Only thing I found was that with mine, being so close to the RBR, 5 feet, was having problems with the NEST. I found that when I moved the RBR away from the one NEST controller, 20-25 feet, the NEST controller started working with out draining the battery. Also was said that this is also a NEST controller issue as well that NEST needs to fix it on there side as these controllers ping pong back and forth on there own when there is more than 1 signal source in play, i.e. RBR and 1 or 2 RBS. Its also recommemeded to install the C power wire to your NEST from the main central AC system to help avoid the battery draining. You'll need to consult your systems mfr wiring diagram to find out which connection that is.

Unfortunately I recently got the RBK852 without knowing the whole issue with the Nest thermostat. I contacted Netgear support and the only suggestions I have gotten as follows is to:
- Change the CTS to 2347
- Change the DNS to 8.8.8.8
- Change the MTU setting
- Re-flash the latest firmware manually
So far nothing helps. I have disconnected my WiFi for now while I decide what to do next. I am thinking of returning the mesh system.

That would be my suggestion and my biggest resolution to this problem!
This product should not be on the market, as the primary concern I raised when I purchased it continues to exist.
Netgear engineers do not care and the cost of this system price point should not have this issue exist for this long! It also should not matter the distance and this is just truly a slap to customers while ruining Netgear’s reputation.

Its a lame excuse. I recommend who ever purchase this Mesh system and see this thread please return the product.

We are facing similar issues (low battery) with Nest since we installed Orbi Mesh 6 router. Looks like this is a known issue. Plan to follow this thread, lot of good information. I will

open a case with Netgear.

Just send it back. There's no point at this stage hanging around. This was first mentioned 4 or 5 months ago and Netgear don't seem interested in fixing it. If they had even said they have replicated the issue and are working to fix it, I'd have kept mine - but nope. Just "can we get your serial number" messages, which tells me they have no clue. This affects all of them.
