That option has nothing to do with whether the 5G WiFi is enabled or not. That option is whether the WiFi6 (802.11ax) capability is enabled. Some older WiFi devices cannot function when the network supports 802.11ax. Once people purhase WiFi gizmos, they often keep them for a long time and are reluctant to replace them. (Or, the manufacturer does not offer a newer gizmo.) Look more carefully at the screen shot. notice the "ax".
5G WiFi is no easier to hack than 2.4G WiFi.
The 350 product must have 5G WiFi in order for the router to communicate with satellites.

Why Might AP Isolation Seem to "Not Work" on 5 GHz?
Dual-Band Device Handling:
- If a router has a "smart connect" or "band steering" feature that automatically switches devices between bands, it may create the impression that AP Isolation is not functioning, especially if the devices switch bands dynamically.
Guest Networks:- If AP Isolation is enabled on the main network but not on a guest network (or vice versa), devices on the network without AP Isolation may still communicate.
Is it a risk?

Orbi routers do not have an AP isolation feature available to users.
- On the primary network (both WiFi and 'wired') all devices can communication with all other devices. This is what most users would want. For example, how could a person print if the printer could not communicate?
- The Guest WiFi network enforces AP isolation and cannot be disabled. Anything that connects to the Guest WiFi network can communication only with the internet.
