Netgear modem and Orbi RBR750
Just made the switch from our older wifi and outdated modem to Netgear modem CM1100 and Orbi12 RBR750. Installation went very smooth and thought I had all devices working as designed however, when my...

Had something similar in my setup and it turned out that the Orbi was for some reason assigning the same IP Address to two different devices. Rebooting the devices and the Orbi seemed to have solved the issue but now I end up assigning IP addresses to almost everything so conflicts like this don't happen again.

What were these two devices and did you reboot/restart them after putting your Orbi into place? It doesn't make sense that it would assign two devices the same IP address, but it's very possible that a misconfigured device is still using an older IP address or wasn't getting correct DHCP responses.
I have always used DHCP to dynamically assign IP address with my Orbis and never had a problem with any of my home devices. In the few cases where a device warns me that another is using the same IP address, it's because one of the two devices was manually misconfigured with a conflicting static IP address or because it was using an address assigned by another router or older Orbi recently in my home network.

One device (Denon Receiver) had a static IP address assigned to it and the other(Echo Show) was assigned by the Orbi which turned out to be the same IP address. Not sure how it happened but I ended up rebooting the device that didn't have a static IP assigned to it and it finally got worked out. I ended up assigning static IP addresses to everything a few days later but now I make sure to reboot all devices and the Orbi after everything is setup and running.

Glad you got it figured out. I prsume by static you mean that you set an IP address reservation on the RBR?
