The solution is usually a restart which takes a lot time and have do it every 1-2 days. Is there a auto heal feature in Orbi that can take of this ?
If the question is, "is there a feature on the Orbi to have it restart on a schedule?", the answer is "no". Modern WiFi routers are designed to operate continuously because there are so many home automation features that rely on the network being active at all times. (My home alarm, for example, alerts me every time it loses WiFi signal, which is really annoying because changing almost any Orbi feature causes the WiFi radios to restart.)
The only known solution is to connect the router to a smart plug that has been programmed to turn off and back on at regular intervals. Although most smart plugs are set up and controlled through a smartphone app, most of them actually keep schedules in the plug itself. For example, if the plug is set to turn off at 1:00am every night and set to turn on at 1:01am every night, this will force the router to restart
Perhaps it would be useful to describe more about "increasingly flaky".
- What happens?
- How often?
- To which devices?
- Those that are connected with Ethernet?
- Those that are connected with WiFi?
- Only certain devices, or "everything"?
- Is there a pattern?
