NETGEAR ORBI RBR850

hi

 

My client in there house has a Netgear ORBI rbr850.

Firmware v4.6.9.11_2.3.5.

 

We are trying to connect a video door entry intercom system to it, the system needs to connect to the internet to connect to the cloud so then the client can use the mobile phone app to receive calls from the intercom & open the door. The door entry system connects to the router via Wi fi ok but it can't connect out to the cloud & internet.

The door entry system does work has i used my mobile phone as a hot spot & it connected to the cloud straight away.

The door entry system is Hikvision.

Any suggestions please.

    What modem/gateway is the orbi connected to? Double nat's can cause issues like that.

      the client said he has a standard virgin router set into modem mode
