Netgear Orbi RBS350
Are there any benifits running a homeplug from the RBR350 to a RBS350 that is having problems connecting wirelessly? Or are homeplugs not designed for these units? TL-PA4010P KIT | AV600 Passthrou...

Thanks for the detailed reply, could you possibly move this post to the correct group?
One room above is a mission as it is on a different phase than downstairs so homeplugs are out of the question and the RBS350 is up and down, mostly down. I'm wanting to turn the room into a office so might run a cable from downstairs but still won't give a stable wifi signal, could just put in a small switch to run PC, printer and smart TV from it.
Is there a iPhone app out there that can check for good signals around the home for suitable placements of the 4 x Satellites?

If you connect the RBR350 to the RBS350 with ethernet, then you should be automatically switched to a wired backhaul. So if you put the RBS in the office, and run the cable to it, then you should get a good wifi signal there.
You should be able to put a switch on the same path if you need local ethernet in the office.

Not that I know of. Would be nice, but my understanding is that there are limitations in the Apple SDK that get in the way.
There are some you can install on a Windows laptop (I've used netspot). No idea about Macs, since I don't use one.
