Netgear Orbi wifi 6e Ethernet backhaul?
I just purchased the 3 pack AXE11000 WiFi Mesh System (RBKE963). Is it possible to connect only one of the Satellite using Ethernet backhaul? The other satellite in corner of house doesn’t support Eth...

Wired backhaul now supports 2.5Gb speeds if you can take advantage of that configuration on the 9 series Orbi.
That will be a little tricky if there is more than one satellite. With the router having only one 2.5GB etherent port, the router and switches will have to be connected to a switch with 2.5GB capability. (Several companies sell these switches. They are more expensive than regular gigabit switches.) Cat5e supports 2.5GB ethernet: https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2016/09/5gbps-ethernet-standard-details-8023bz/
It would be interesting to see which has better performance: (a) using the one 2.5GB port and a switch, or (b) using separate gigabit ports to each satellite. Given the limitations of typical user devices, I am not even certain how a comparison could be conducted.

Ya I know, I wish NG would have made all LAN Ports 2.5Gb. One of these days would be nice to have ALL LAN Ports upgraded beyond 1000Mpbs.
I havn't checked into 2.5Gb switches, last time I did they were still kinda spendy. The one 2.5Ghz PCI hard I bought was $75, was not cheap.

Both switches are multi-gig capable rather cheap if bought on sell. I just bought a few of the newer MS510TXM models for $300 each about 4 weeks ago. Considering these switches are Smart Pro is a plus as well. The newer ones can also be Insight managed, but I digress.
