Netgear RBKE962 satellite keeps disconnecting intermittently
I have the RBKE962 satellite positioned in my lounge room, which is connected wirelessly to my TV, streaming box and soundbar all in the same room via 5ghz. The main router is down the hallway. ...
MIght try moving things around a little.
Many devices have their own roaming protocol and they'd "prefer" to be connected to the primary router if its close enough. Maybe the 10m isn't far enough away for them to choose the satellite over the primary router.
No. When I power cycle the devices they immediately connect to the Satellite because it’s the closest one next to it.
Somehow the Satellite is dropping connection intermittently. This is the issue.
I think I might need to connect the satellite via wired backhaul.
