Thanks. I made all the changes including chaning my IP address to .100
If this doesn't get fixed soon, my next change will be returning this POS Netgear product to Costco and getting something more stable. Beyond furious that Netgear would push this and then not have a way to downgrade without being forced to auto update. If they know there is a problem, they should put out a temporary fix. Eveyrone is working from home and having your network crash 5x a day in the middle of zoom calls is NOT acceptable for a $400 router. I get that things go wrong. All companies have these issues. Not providing a temporary fix OR allowing for a rollback (or an auto rollback) - well, I guess the lawyers can figure that one out.

You can try this:
- intergeek14Aug 25, 2021StarI’m seeing a bunch of Orbi routers pop up on Facebook market place now. I wonder why?
Also, I like how when I go to manage devices in the Orbi app, I’m forced to set up the stupid family service. My legal service is looking into this. - FURRYe38Aug 25, 2021Guru - Experienced User
Do you have a screen capture of this "family service"?
Something I've not seen with mine...
Did you try the downgrade method that one user found to work yet?

Had you had this before or is this the first time?
Yes SPC was activated after v4 FW came out. I presume if you activate the trial again, it should not appear again?
- intergeek14Aug 25, 2021StarRight but as I stated I don’t want the service. It’s pay for service.

Has the trial already expired?
I would contact NG about this and see what the deal is. Maybe something they can effect for you and change...Seems like if the trial exprired and users don't want to continue the service, they should be able to opt out and avoid the nag window.
