YES, THAT DOES NOT FIX A BROKEN FIRMWARE THAT SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN PUSHED. NETGEAR STINKS!

Return it to the seller then. eBay is not a authorized seller so warranties are not valid thru fleabay.

- NG doesn't know where you got your device from. It automatically registers on first configuration. your device may have been a replacement device
Also NG doesn't warranty 2nd hand systems. Only NEW products from authorized sellers.
Users need to check MFr warranty before buying anything to ensure they understand what they are getting and what warranties are being covered.
