Maybe Netgear should offer a stripped down firmware, remove the nanny and security subscription stuff. Would simplify the build and test.  NG will never get my money for those anyway, it’s bloatware.

    Not a bad idea, so my Netgear Bitdefender subscription will renew in early May.  Do you think it’s not worth renewing?  Occasionally, I get alerts that my router blocked a phishing attempt, etc., and seems to make me feel secure on my network.

      If we were using The Orbi system for playing games or social media, it wouldn’t be a big issue. But this essential for our job !! We both work from home. Poorly tested updates are a hindrance on our bottom line.
