Followed the directions and upgraded. Did the RBS750 units first and then the RBR750. Appears to be working well.
One important note, I did need to restart each RBS750 after the RBR750 was upgraded to re-establish connection. As each is on a UPS and mounted on the all, required a ladder.
Otherwise working fine at this time.
I didn't see the "IoT" network feature at first. You need to go into Wireless setup. You'll then see a "Wireless IoT Settings' and the ability to "enable" an IoT wireless SSID along with password.
Nice to have this feature added finally. I believe it's important to have a Trusted, IoT and Guest wireless SSID.

So, that could have gone better. Last night, per initial post guidance, updated satellite and then the router. I also did a 60+ second power cycle of each afterward. Immediately, it appeared the update was fine. Everything looked ok. I could login to each web interface and no issues. Quick note, I was on the latest 4.x version prior to the update. I also had not factory reset either the satellite or router in a long time (probably a year or two).
Later, (about an hour) wife noticed Xbox (hard-wired through RBS750 unit which is also hard-wired to the RBR750 unit) couldn't get on the internet. I power cycled the Satellite, switched from Wi-Fi to wired and back, then finally tried resetting it by holding the pin hole until the power led starting blinking amber. It just sat there hard-blinking white (off and on) over and over endlessly. When I pressed the sync button, it would immediately switch to soft-blink white (instead of off/on, it would fade out and fade on). But just endlessly and never latch on. The router would show it was disconnected. Funny thing, even while wireless and showing unhappy on both sides (satellite blinking, and router showing disconnected), I was able to get to the satellite admin webpage. Go figure. Ended up removing the Satellite from the router config (attached devices) and then resetting it again (pin hole) and then using the wizard in the router to add it back again (the sync button on the router stopped triggering any action, no blinks, no lights, etc). With wireless (and 3-4 feet from the router), the satellite would switch to magenta/pink which instructions say it failed the handshake. Finally, after several tries, I switched the satellite back to wired again, and only after being wired, the satellite finally went blue for the first time (happy connection). I moved the satellite back to its normal wired home and it stayed up and happy.
Fast forward to this morning, noticed signal on my phone was only 1-2 bars. I was far from the satellite but within 10 feet on the router. Sigh.
So, I just reset the router (did it via the menu within the web interface, *not* via the pin hole on the back. Went through the setup process and reconfigured everything manually (took screenshots before and didn't restore settings I had backed up just to be on the safe side).
After the reset, some notes:
*Oddly, the satellite rejoined (wired) without having to press the sync button.
*Web interface at one point went Asian characters on me (language set to Auto) after initially being English and making multiple setting changes all in English. Suddenly after applying settings at one point, boom, Asian characters. I had to force it to English (from Auto) and then it was ok again using the top right drop-down.
*New IOT network feature was enabled by default. Had to disable it. Guest was disabled though by default.
*Wired speeds are fine (900+mbps). Wireless is around 650/700mbps on an iPhone 13. I was seeing these speeds before the update.
So yeah, that could have gone better. I'll let things bake to see how it goes.

Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
