Followed the directions and upgraded. Did the RBS750 units first and then the RBR750. Appears to be working well.
One important note, I did need to restart each RBS750 after the RBR750 was upgraded to re-establish connection. As each is on a UPS and mounted on the all, required a ladder.
Otherwise working fine at this time.
I didn't see the "IoT" network feature at first. You need to go into Wireless setup. You'll then see a "Wireless IoT Settings' and the ability to "enable" an IoT wireless SSID along with password.
Nice to have this feature added finally. I believe it's important to have a Trusted, IoT and Guest wireless SSID.

Well - Anyone else having issues with the satellites connected with wire jumps to the 2.4ghz wireless as connection type?
I have Router wired to a RBS750 that has another RBS750 hooked up to it.
So RBR750 - wire - RBS750 - Wireless - RBS750.
My wired RBS750 jumps between Wired and 2.4ghz and I keep loosing my wireless connection with my Wireless RBS750. Of course it could be the network cable but this has worked with the old firmware flawlessly except the handover between Router and satellite.
I seem to be at the 172.xxx.xxx.xxx-network. Not picked by me as far as I remember but I do not care.
What can I do?

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router? What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected. What CAT# cable is being used between the RBR and RBS?
Does swapping RBS with each other show same issue?

Turn off and unplug modem. DONE
Turn off router and computers. DONE
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect. DONE
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect. DONE
Turn on computers and rest of network. DONEDoes this happen with the RBS turned OFF? - DONE and I have actually taken away on off the satellites. Seems to work better. Unfortunately.
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices? No, but I have no wired connections on my last satellite.
What channel configurations are currently set on the router? - All by default. What is the size of your home? Sq Ft? - 168 + a separate cottage of 26 square meters. But the distance is not a problem.
What is the distance between the router and - Wired first then 7 meters or so, in separate houses between satellites.satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS. - See above. 7 meters or so since I moved the Satellite a month ago. Has worked flawlessly.
️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected. - The satellites was connected between two houses or that I call cottage. So two outer walls(Swedish style = well insulated 30cm+ per wall), one with clay and one in wood.
What CAT# cable is being used between the RBR and RBS? CAT 6.
Does swapping RBS with each other show same issue? - I killed one of the satellites instead. I now do not have a satellite in my cottage. Should not be needed but as the satellite that was wired in the house jumped in its connection type between wireless and wired. Bought a new cat6-cable yesterday also.

Let us know how it goes with one reduced RBS out of the mix.
- Dreas89Oct 16, 2023AspirantStill no luck. Today my wife and one of the kids had major issues with the wireless after a blackout.
I had issues with the wireless I realize during a meeting. The Satellite is wired but has stopped showing as wired in the Network app.
This update really made my Orbi crap.- FURRYe38Oct 16, 2023Guru - Experienced User
How is the RBS connected to the RBR? You say wired? Is it to the back of the RBR or is there any LAN switch in the middle? If there is a LAN switch, brand and model please of this switch.
Turn OFF the RBS and test to see if wifi problems are still seen.
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since v.21 was loaded?
What is the distance between the one RBS and the RBR? In Feet please.

The RBS is connected through a patch panel and then straight into the RBR. There might for some devices be a D-Link 1008D in between but those is not the issue.
Turn OFF the RBS and test to see if wifi problems are still seen.
Unfortunately I need to work. Might try this during the weekend. What channel configurations are currently set on the router?
20/40 and Auto for the 2.4ghz network and for 5ghz Auto.
Looking at the satellite it says:
2.4ghz = channel 4.
5ghz = Channel: 36+40(P)+44+48

Yes, yesterday I did not see any other option as one of the satellites did not work. Did a factory reset of all devices and set it up once again. What is the distance between the one RBS and the RBR? In Feet please.
Hard to say, I would guess 30-40 feet through multiple walls - So far that my phone drops wifi connection sometimes(saw it yesterday after reset and no satellites up). Could that be the issue? That the Satellite tries over Wifi even though it has a wire? I moved the satellite from and earlier location that was one wall and 10 feet closer to the RBR a month ago - If the update made the router - satellite communication more sensetive that could be something. The threshold right now is set to 64.
Yesterday I factory reset everything, set it up again. Now my old phone does not connect to the satellite - Only the RBR. The RBR has much worse coverage and drops all the time. My new phone connected to the satellite works quite well today.
