Been having issues with my RBK753 system since installing this firmware. Previous version was rock-solid, but since installing this, I've experienced several instances where the Internet will slow to a crawl (a WiFi issue as speed tests on a wired device still show full fiber speeds), the WiFi network will just disappear for several minutes, satellites will suddenly reboot or disconnect from the mesh network... I've tried to power-cycle the network and reset router and satellites, but still experiencing problems.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 UTP is recommended. How are you checking the speed? Wireless or ethernet PC?
How did you factory reset the router and satellites and setup from scratch? Using a PC and web browser or setup thru the Orbi app?
Is IPv6 enabled on the RBR?
Are you using ISP DNS or custom DNS?
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, IPv6, Smart Parental Controls or Circle, Traffic Meter.- RockTheGlobeMay 15, 2025Apprentice
Not sure which ONT Ting is using for our installs, but I hear it's a Calix GP1100X.
Using a Cable Matters CAT6 cable.
Checking the speed both wirelessly on iPhone/iPad and wired Mac.
Used a Mac/web browser to set up.
IPv6 is enabled.
Using Cloudflare and Google DNS.
Armor, Smart Parental Controls, Circle and Traffic Meter are all turned off.- FURRYe38May 15, 2025Guru - Experienced User
If you disable IPv6 on the RBR do you see same problem?
Also try ISP DNS as well.
Have you tested a wired PC at the ONT with out the RBR connected to confirm speeds are good there?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

Yeah, I'm ticked off, having same issue. Somehow, the auto install feature got enabled, not sure how. I'd installed Orbi app a while back to check it out instead of the web interface I've always used, I believe that may have reset it to auto install. I was on 3 versions back because I did not want to deal with lag, hangs and having to come back to this forum to see what the heck was going on with NetGear.
So now I'm back, complaining of slow internet speed, hangs. Using the debug page, I can see that the router is running 43% CPU load when on prior firmware that was less than 10% on regular basis. Also the web interface is now SLLOOOOOOWWWW. I can't believe the router and satellites actually auto updated correctly, they are all showing this updated firmware.
I so love to hate on Netgear but going into holiday weekend I can't deal with this right now.
Will a full reset fix this? Keep the firmware and just do a reset, name it the same with same password and everything will reconnect?
I hate Netgear, I really do. I loved our Orbi's until the 3rd or 4th firmware and until that last one from a few years back, was nothing but hell.
