Hi,
I have the RBR853, I updated the firmware to the latest via my phone app and my 2 satellites did not show up, they are connected wired. I did a factory reset and try to sync them again but nothing. So I took the satellite closer to the router and re-sync them again at it works, I did it while connected wired and it shows the connection was wired. I repeat the steps to the other unit and it works but when I move then back to their location and connected them wired they show that they are offiline. I know cables are good since it was working before and I tested then by connecting my laptop and I dont have any issues. Any clue what it is happening. When they connected they were showing the latest firmware 4.6.7.13.
Thanks

Ensure the RBS were updated prior to updating the RBR and make sure the RBS were updated.
Ensure the RBS are wirelessly connected to the RBR first, then while near or in same room as RBR, ethernet connect each RBS to the back of the RBR and check to ensure they get connected via ethernet.
What CAT# cable are you using? CAT6 is recommended.
Any LAN switches or patch panels in between the RBS and RBR when they are in there remote locations?

I updated to 4.6.7.13 today, RBR850 with 2 RBS850 satellites. I did it manually. So far speeds are fine Internet -0 router and using Speedtest app. The only issue I see are the attached devices list and the access control list at orbilogin.net are really messed up - it shoulws a wireless laptop on the third floor connected to the router in the basement, but I knowe it's not - it's got a 5GHz connection, and speedtext of over 300Mbps which would not happen with a router that far away.
Other examples, it shows the laptop I am typing on, which is Eth connected to a switch and into the router, as connected to a satellite. The wired connection is working, I verified in settings and speed test.It shows our Ring Chime as wired when it is not. Sll 3 printers in our offices on the 3rd floor show as connected to the router in the basement. The Access list shows under the "disconnected" list a hardware computer!
That's the only problem I see., I did do a full power cycle of router for 2 minutes, then satellites, but it looks the same. But these 2 lists are a mess, and they were find under 4.6.3 (I think what I was on, no beta versions).
Maybe they will straighten out. Should I do a Sync or anything?

Screen captures would be helpful.
Might give it some time to settle in.

The devices list (on both the web dashboard and the Orbi app) has been really erratic on both this version and 4.6.7.5.
For me it seems to affect specific devices, for instance I have a Ring doorbell that is almost always shown as having a wired connection to the router, which is impossible as it's a wireless only device.
If you log onto the satellites directly and check the devices list from there, you will get a more accurate picture of what is going on.

K. Keep in mind that RBS needs to be updated first. RBR lastly.
Enjoy.

And the important part: Log into the RBS directly to update the firmware. I found out the hard way trying to load 4.6.75 onto it through the RBR page.

Ok, I am back at home so I can try a few things mention here. So far I have not been successful in having my RBS to show up on the map after I place them in their location. I can connect to the via their web interface and it shows "Your WIFI Orbi Satellite connection is up and running" It shows me devices connected. On the orbi app on the map I see them with a red mark and it says connection type Offline. They are connected wired and I have check all network cables and they are good and I can ping them from my laptop. This started happening after I updated the firmware. I reset the router to factory default. I can see the RBS when I bring them close to the router but once I take them back to the location there were before and connected them wired I dont see them on the map, but again I can connect to their web interface.
Thanks

I wanted to give you an update what I discover. If I move my RBS to their location and I just power them up with not network cable and wait until they connect showing the blue light, they will show up on the web interface and on the app. I then connect the cable and they will remain connected and they show up on the app as wired but they do not show up on the web interface. Very strange, I think it is a bug. Before this I was connecting the network cable and then powering up. Anyone notice this.
Thanks
