new AX4200 does not connect with previous satellites
Please help. I had an Orbi AX4200 WiFi 6 High-Performance Router (RBR750) with two satellites that worked fine from Nov '21 to June '22. The router crapped out and I could not purchase another rout...

And here's the weird thing - I don't have ANY of the satellites plugged in or turned on but my netgear login to router page shows this:
How can I have a satellite connected when none are plugged in?

What FW is loaded on the RBR?
Please edit out all MAC adresses and prodcut serial numbers in pictures please for security reasons.

FW on RBR and RBS are the same; this is what I find when I log into orbilogin.net: V4.6.5.14 is listed for both.

ALL RBS would need to be at this FW level to connect to the RBR correctly. Once or IF ALL RBS can get connected to the RBR, you may want to update the RBS to most current version of FW ON the RBS first, then the RBR lastly. Of other RBS are not at this level of FW, it's possible that these RBS will not properly sync to the RBR.

It depends on how it has been since the satellite was powered off. We humans expect computers to react instantly, but the Orbi router maintains the device list by periodically scanning the network. It is really frustrating (to me) when I open the Orbi Attached Devices page to see that my phone is connected at 2.4G to a satellite in the garage when it is actually connected at 5G to the router which is sitting next to my desktop computer. (At least that's what the phone says.) Sure enough, in 10-15 minutes, the Attached Devices display shows the phone is connected at 5G to the router.
My guess is that it is the previous satellites that need to be Factory Reset. When they left the factory, they had been paired with the router so that customers could unbox everything, set them up, and use them without configuring anything. Now that router has disappeared, so they need to have that old configuration cleared out so that they are open to pairing with a new router.

Yes, I know we can be impatient sometimes... 😉
I performed a "factory reset" (using a paperclip in the "reset" location) on all units - RBR, new RBS, both previous RBS, with no luck. RBR still cannot "find" either of the two satellites. And the "Attached Devices" still shows this RBS. 🤷🏻♀️
