Sorry to hear your problems with your RBKE960. I have the same Orbi AXE and also the same Xfinity XB7 (CGM4331COM) modem, set to bridge mode and my Orbi in router mode. I have not experienced loss of Internet Port connection like you've reported. To confirm, it's the Internet Port connection that is lost right? Therefore we can ignore for no wi-fi settings, distance between satellites, etc. for now because none of that would break your internet connection.
Make sure you're running the latest V6.0.3.85 firmware version. You have one ethernet connection from the modem to your Orbi, right? No need for WAN/port aggregation since both sides support 2.5Gbps ethernet. Are all your orbilogin.com Advanced...Internet Setup settings then at the defaults?
