Ok Ya, WAN IPs should not be posted in public forums. LAN IPs can be as thats mostly common across all routers and yes, can be a 10.something address. This usually means that you have a up stream router in front of the orbi router if thats the case using a 192.168.1.1 address thus the orbi will auto change to a 10 something address on the LAN side. Otherwise, 192 addresses are default and most commonly used.

My bad for not being clear :-) the 10.something address is set by myself via the browser console. It is possible to change the router IP address manually, in the advanced tab > setup > LAN setup, there you can change it.
Anyways, it seems for the moment that connecting all sattelites with a wired connection does make a difference. Fingers crossed..

Sadly the dis- and reconnects re-appeared.
Is there any official statement from netgear on this issue? Are they working on improved firmware? Or are they denying there is a problem?

NG IS aware of the problems on v4 FW AND IS working on it.
You might try downgrading the RBS to last v3 FW version, then maybe re-apply v4 FW. Factory reset the entire system helps as well:

Without detailing the kind of work I do: it is 100% remote and I reached the point that I my income was at risk. The (lack of) stability of my wifi caused so many interruptions in network connections that it impacts the business relations with my clients. I replaced an RBR850 + 2x RBS850 with four Asus ZenWifi XT8 Wifi6 mesh devices.
Goodbye Netgear, you mes(s/h)ed up.

Thats good to hear....I've been waiting months for this. This firmware version and lack of a timely response has definitely damaged their corporate reputation. I'm no longer brand loyal due to this.

👍
- claudiutDec 19, 2021ApprenticeFurrye38 how do you know NG is working on a fix? Are you an NG employee and therefore confirm this? If not, you better stop making statements like this to confuse people, unless you are on NG's payroll i which case it makes sense.
- FURRYe38Dec 19, 2021Guru - Experienced User
Ya, not a employee. I'll post how I see fit.
Thanks.

That's great mate, you can say whatever, you don't even care you're hurting people!
Great job NG paying this kind of people to take care of your forums. - EagleLandedDec 20, 2021Star
And funny enough always makes sure to have the last words in every threat at all time - spending all his spare time, unpaid? No integrity at all.

I don't care much if you're paid or not. Kudo's for taking this much sh*t, it's hard to imagine you do and keep doing that for free :-) Netgear however deserves all the rant, so by all means, pass it on.
Fwiw, I tried this new version, but it did not resolve my issues. Still experiencing temporary outages on my (wifi connected) server

Only on your wifi connected server device or all wifi devices?
Did you factory reset and setup from scratch after trying that FW version? What I did with mine last saturday after loading.
No using Armor or SPC. Manual channel 1 and 40
CTS is default 64. Though you can try 2347.
I set power on the RBR to 50% as it's close to my NEST controller.
RBS are ethernet connected and they are using v4.6.3.16 FW. No FW update yest for them.
Been a couple of days. No issues as of yet.

I did the factory reset after loading the new version. I think the outages is on all my devices, but on the server I notice it clearly trhough some logs. I have armor and SPC off. The RBS will not get themselves updated. I have not tried the manual channels yet, will give that a try

What brand and model wifi adapter is on this server?
What do the logs say on the server?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)?

I will feel it a waste of money, but will turn the 14 ft one off. The other one is at +/- 30ft (some pythagoras + mtr->ft calculation errors)
