NOTICE - Orbi AX and AXE systems on Firmware v7.2.7.15 with IPv6

Problem:

Seems that native IPv6 protocols are failing on this version of FW for all Orbi AX and AXE model systems. 

Even after troubleshooting has been exhausted. 

Prior working versions of FW do not exhibit this issue. 

This Issue has been passed on to NETGEAR for review. 

 

Workaround: 

For those needing or requiring use of native IPv6 from there ISPs, we recommend downgrading your Orbi system back to last prior working FW version to keep IPv6 working on your system. 

 

Note:

Remember when downgrading Orbi systems, All RBS first, then the RBR lastly. 

A factory reset will be needed and setup from scratch. 
Use of any saved backup configuration files captured on prior working FW versions is recommended for quick setup and being back online quickly during the factory reset and setup process. 

 

 

 

Users are encouraged to reach out to NG support and let them know what you are experiencing with this version of FW and IPv6 problems. 

 

Hopefully NG can get this fixed as soon as possible.
