One computer won't connect to the internet via satellite but otherwise connects fine

So this is similar to an issue that a user reported with a MacBook that resolved itself so in the end it wasn't clear what was happening.

Here goes. Have Orbi 850 system with 3 satellites. System has been working great since installed for more than two years.

Last spring, my Microsoft Surface tablet would not lose wifi connection, which was always strong, but would lose internet access. It was rare at first but then became more consistent. Restarts would help but then they wouldn't. But as with the MacBook example, I could connect perfectly fine any other networks or hotspots. And again to be clear, I could connect to the Orbi wi-fi fine every time. It became frustrating enough that I just requested a new computer from work and everything was fine with the new machine (as it had been for all other devices on the network).

Fast forward to this week and my daughter needed a computer and I figured to give this one a go again. I spent more time with it and discovered a key fact: if I was connected to the router (via wi-fi) it works perfectly fine. It is only when I am connected to a satellite that the internet connection does not work.

It is quite baffling. But it would be great to solve this problem so that the computer can be used in more than certain areas of the house.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?

Maybe something to contact MS support about regarding there product if this is the only device having problems.
