Only 1 device(MacBook Air) not connecting to satellite (RBS750)
I am unable to get my MacBook Air to connect to the internet via the RBS750. My MacBook states that the wifi is connected and it’s even listed as attached device to the RBS750 in the admin console, b...

I was able to resolve this by resetting BOTH the RBR and RBS - defaulting back to the factory settings, and then using the app to “set up a new orbi system.”

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

If other devices are connecting to the RBS and the one device isn't, this device would need to be reviewed. Disable the wifi radio on the one device and move near the RBS, then re-enable the wifi radio on the device. Should pick up and connect to the RBS.
Also try turning down the power output of the RBRs wifi radios from 100% to 50% and see if this changes anything. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Hi Furry!
Thanks for responding! I’ve tried your wi-fi radio suggestion of turning it off and then turning it back on while being directly next to the RBS, but still nothing.
I should mention that I’m not having issues with the RBR interfering with the device’s connection to the RBS. For clarity, the device only works with the RBR if it’s within range of the RBR which is in my basement.
In addition, I’ve noticed that on my device it is picking up the IPV6 address instead of the IPV4 address.

Ya all Apple devices have IPv6 enabled and that can't be disabled on the devices.
Do you have IPv6 enabled on the RBR?

IPv6 is not enabled on RBR.
On the MacBook Air it states “Wi-Fi is connected to [network name] and has the IP address [IPv6 address]”

(an opportunity to learn something about Apple devices...)
"instead of" implies to me that the MacBook Air has no IPv4 address, which means that it cannot possibly communicate with anything that does not support IPv6, correct? A substantial fraction of the world's devices do not support IPv6. My Windows computer clearly shows both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses (actually multiple IPv6 addresses)
When the MacBook Air is connected to the Orbi, what does the Attached Devices page (or the app Connected Devices) say about the device IP?

Hi CrimpOn!
Thanks for also responding!
When the MacBook Air is connected to the RBR, it says the device name, IP address, MAC address, connection type and connected orbi. This information matches what populates on the MacBook Air within the TCP/IP settings page, including the router IP.
However, when standing next to the RBS with MacBook Air, the TCP/IP settings page for the IPv4, only displays the IP address and the Subnet Mask show. The router field is blank.
