Optimizing for the best wifi 6 mesh setup
Hi there, We are moving in to a 3,000 sq ft house that's fully wired with Cat6 and have AT&T fiber 1GB. As a result, I'm trying to determine what the best wifi 6 mesh system is to purchase? ...

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.

Review the spec sheets for the 850 and 750 series. I believe the main differences are the connections rates seen on the wifi radios.

*If* this is the case, what do you recommend betweent he 750 and 850? Is it worth paying up for the 850 if the wired connection points will be the same speed?
I don't have any experience with 7 series AX System. I presume it should compare well to the 8 series system. Something you could get from a retailer that have a good refund policy and try it out. If it doesn't work to your liking, return it and get a refund.
