Optimizing performance when used with AT&T Arris BGW210-7000
I have an Orbi 6 router. The model is actually RBR850 (not RBR50). Firmware version is V3.2.18.1_1.4.14. I have connected it to my AT&T Fiber 1gbps service via Ethernet port into the Arris BGW210-700...

- Turned off both 2.4 and 5G radios on Arris
- Set Arris in IP-Passthrough mode with DHCP-fixed option to assign the WAN IP address to the MAC address of Orbi router.
- I do not have TV or Phone service from AT&T. Only Internet.
- I do not have any hardwired connections to the Arris router. Arris router connects to the ONT on its Internet WAN port and to the Orbi on the LAN port.
- I want Arris to do the least amount of work (I think that is ideal) and make Orbi do most of the work.
I want to make sure that I don't have two DHCP servers being used or double NAT. My Orbi shows the following settings. I also include a traceroute log. Does this look correct? I am surprised that Orbi has a domain name server of 192.168.48.1 which is the IP address of my Arris router. I do have a public IP address for the Orbi (172.125.78.52) so that looks good but I am not sure about domain name server that is show as 192.168.48.1 on Orbi admin page. Is that optimal? Or do we want something in the public internet cloud space?
What am I missing here? 192.168.48.1 is the address of my Arris. Is that correct? Do I have double DHCP? Is that even possible? Should I disable some packet filtering on Arris for better performance?

I had to do a factory reset on my Orbi Pro SXR80 and SRR60, all works now.
I have ATT&T and it is in line with my BR500 and then I run the SXR80 and SRR60. I did not use IP-Passthrough mode with DHCP-fixed and It's working fine for me now. Just keep it inline when doing the reset on the Orbi and setting it back up.
It was driving me nuts for 3 days.
I did this in the video below and it did not work for me.
