Orbi 5G Wifi Mesh System can connect with old Orbi Mesh Wifi 6 system?
I am considering buying a 5G wifi to replace the old broadband modem. Wanna know if the existing Orbi Wifi 6 system can connect and work with the 5G wifi?

Yes, people switch from broadband internet to 5G LTE internet all the time. (Verizon and T-Mobile are aggressively advertising this service.) While the Orbi 750 system will connect to the Ethernet port of most 5G LTE devices, the WiFi networks will not be compatible. It would be better to disable the WiFi on that LTE device.

Great. Big thanks to your help. If I buy a Netgear 5G LTE router, I can connect my existing Orbi wifi routers to increase coverage, but need to turn off the wifi of the 5G LTE router, just wanna confirm. đ

LTE connections are available from telco's, such as Verizon and T-Mobile and from Netgear. The keys are
- To ensure that the device is compatible with the chosen LTE provider, and
- The device provides a public IP address to the router WAN port.
- Provides the desired performance.
Netgear's LM1200, for example ($129 from Netgear direct) is a 4G LTE modem. It has ports to connect external antennas to boost range/performance.

Netgear's 5G LTE products are considerably more expensive.
It is not clear to me what the cellular carriers provide with their offers.
Verizon: https://www.verizon.com/5g/
T-Mobile: https://www.t-mobile.com/home-internet

Check to see if the wifi on the LTE router can be disabled, if so, then sure, connect up a Orbi Wifi 6 system in AP mode and you'll get move coverage.
Whats the size of the home? Sq Ft?
