Guys thanks for the help on this.
So 2 things.
1. I switched out cable connecting router to the Netgear 16 Port switch, and am now getting 945Mbps, Network solid (wired and wireless).
2. I continued attaching ethernet devices to the switch and apparently my Airport Express 1st Gen was the cause of the network failure. I am going to have to figure out how to set this up or give up on it. ( I used to use it for Apple Airplay - music streaming). It may be more trouble than it is worth.

@CrimpOn , Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Thank you of the suggestion! Doh!
I removed all devices from the switch that I have been attaching to the Orbi router, (Netgear GS116) and attached to a 1gig port on the Orbi. System LAN and wireless SOLID! I added 2 devices and tested after each add to the switch. System stayed solid. I have 3 more devices to add, and I believe I will come across one that is causing an issue, so I think my problem MAY be solved.
I do have one question tho:
1. WITH the switch attached (NO devices attached to switch) on the network speed test from my LAN connected computer in the other room I get about 600Mbps (consistently) download speed.
2. BEFORE attaching the switch I get @960Mbps (consistently)
Is the switch throttling the speed somehow because of its specs? Should I change to a switch with a 2.5G uplink port to get back up to 900s?
Thank you again! I was losing hair!!!

Possible Switch involvement. Or questionable LAN cabling.
The GS1xx series is a older generation of switches. Might try a GS30x series or if you want to ensure your getting good speeds and take advantage of the 2.5Ghz LAN port, check into NGs MS105, GS110MX or XS505M series non managed multi gig switches.
What device did you find that seems to be causing the problem?
