Latest version of firmware on Orbi.
Latest firmware on the LIFX bulbs
iPHONE 14 on WIFI - all the lights were initialised a year or so ago on a 2.4 ghz network so they are initialized correctly. ...

Orbi 960 series model?
Are you using the IoT network for these devices?
Possible having too many of these devices maybe causing problems.
Does one or a few work?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Orbi 960 series model?
I think it is called the 9600 model - the newest one in White.
Are you using the IoT network for these devices? I am not - they were initialized on an SSID called Media with a password using my Google Mesh. When I went with Orbi I named the main SSID Medis again and used the same password so that I would not have to re-initialize my lights. it appears that everything EXCEPT my LIFX lights and my WEMO switches came back on line automatically - the WEMO and LIFX are sporadic.
Possible having too many of these devices maybe causing problems.
They all worked fine on my google mesh.
Does one or a few work? Yes - several do work but they drop off regularly.
What Firmware version is currently loaded? The latest - I do not know where to look in the application - but it says that there are not any firmware updates to be had.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft? 5400 square feet. The Orbi says that it covers 9000 square feet with three units and I have the router plus three units so a total of four units.
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
I have good signal strength and the distances are good according to Orbi technical support.
Thank you for responding and any help you can give.

Would be the 960 series.

Can you try enabling the IoT netowrk and move them to the IoT network.

Can find the FW version number on the RBRs web page using a web browser.

Having too much wifi signal in a smaller size home can cause problems. I have a 5000sq ft home and run two and the power at 50 percent. https://youtu.be/UR0viMLISz4
I recommend reducing the RBS deployed by one at least.
ALso if you have 3 or more RBS deployed, change the CTS value back to 64. This helps with collisions between RBS and the RBR.

OK - I will get that down <grin>

The IOT network is enabled - I would have to go and re-initialize all of the 30 down lights on my house - a 30 foot ladder per light is required and I am 67 - so this will be a last resort type thing...

I am sorry - what is an RBR? I am running the latest firmware on the Orbis as well as the LIFX bulbs.
I increased the sattelites by one because the bedroom satellite was not connecting

What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)?
Router to Living room 40 feet approximately
Living room to Bedroom - approximately 50 feet
Downstairs - through dirt and concrete rebar - from living room probably 40 feet and downstais has a direct connect backhaul - it is also about 50 feet through dirt and concrete rebar as well

I can try that when the other things fail -
With the changes at the moment - ALL my WEMOS (20 of them) have come back on line - setting the channel to 6 and changing the RTS/CTS to 2347. The LIFX bulbs have come back on all but four - very slowly but they appear to be making progress.
ALso if you have 3 or more RBS deployed, change the CTS value back to 64. This helps with collisions between RBS and the RBR.
I assume that if I am not having problem with collisions that I can leave this or gradually decrease it if that is what is allowing the LIFX bulbs to stay on the network?

I recommend moved most of these devices to the IoT network. Having 30+ devices on the main network maybe causing problems as well. What the IoT network is for.

........
Some devices rememebr the MAC address of the AP and not only the SSID and password, have you tried to make the device foorget the SSID and attach again?

I did that for ONE of my down lights - yesterday - with the old settings it would not join.
With the new settings it joined this morning -
SO... I REALLY hope that I do not have to do this to 30 lights that require me to get on a ladder 30 feet in the air to rejoin them all.

If this is the problem (remembering MAC address of the AP), then I'm afraid you have to do that! 🙂
Please monitor this on one or two of the devices and then decide what you want to do. 🙂
