Solution found. I loaded the driver from 3/15/22 instead of 5/9/23 for Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9260 160MHz. Connects immeadiately.
Thank you for your help and suggestions. Seems this is one for Intel/Microsoft.
Still very strange that the driver only hated the Orbi Networks. Worked fine with iPhone hotspots and other networks.
