Orbi 963 wired backhaul
I'm trying to connect a ethernet from router port 2.5gb to satellite1 2.5gb port.
Would I need a switch from router 2.5gb to satelites 2.5gb ports for the wired backhaul? Or can I connect them directly?
I get out of sync or no wifi if I direct connect a ethernet from router to satelite.

You can connect them directly or through a switch. either will work.
When you first connect them, you might need to give them a bit to switch to wired backhaul.
