Same result with TP-Link TL-SG105. No wired backhaul connection for the Satelite 2

What happens if you swap RBS with each other, does the problem follow or remain?

I swapped the satellites as you suggested. Satellite 1 is where 2 was and satellite 2 is where 1 was. Now, since satellite 1 is where 2 was, satellite 1 is now having the same issue as what satellite 2 was having before. Satellite 2 is now working hard wired, but it has a direct connection to the back of the RBR 840 and it's not passing through a switch. If I had known that these satellites could not be hardwired through a switch, I would not have purchased them. For $800 dollars it is really crazy to me that these things cannot communicate with each other through a simple switch. I have tried 3 different switches and none of them work. I am really disappointed with this.

So this is point to the switch and or cabling that you have in place were SAT2 was origianllty placed. Since you swapped RBS and the problem remained at the one location this points to a cableing issue or a incompatible LAN switch. Even though it's un managed, the green ethernet features of these switch maybe causing problems.
NetGear GS-105/108v4 and GS308v3, D-Link DGS-105/108 and HP ProCurve 1400/1800 series switches work for Orbi systems.
